The patient presented with primary infertility, azoospenmia, and small testes. Testicular biopsy revealed marked focal atrophy. There is heterogeneity of the histological appearance from area to area in the field shown. Much of this biopsy (not shown in the photograph) did, however, appear normal. H&E stain.
